On August 7th the Oracle Center in Oakland, CA will come alive with the inside packed to the rafters with MMA enthusiasts as they all come to watch what may be the famous Anderson Silva’s last game at the UFC 117 wagering competition. 
Instead of engaging his adversary, Silva seemed to go insane in his previous competition and ran around the Octagon. No one knows his reason for his antics but UFC president Dana White previously openly stipulated that if he doesn’t compete right in the UFC 117 probabilities event he’s finished. Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen – Silva is 10 times the competitor that Sonnen is. In reality, this is a unusual pairing and a huge mismatch even in normal circumstances. This competition is particularly engaging due to the fact of all the smack talking that Sonnen is doing in the build up to the competition. Look for Silva to destroy Sonnen in this UFC 117 probabilities game and continue being the most dominant competitor in MMA history.
Jon Fitch vs Thiago Alves – Fitch (22-3) is an up and comer in the welterweight class and this is his moment to ‘do or die’. Although Alves will be his most difficult competition yet, he’s won his last 4 matches and he’ll come out at the top of this competition which very well may be the Fight of Night at the UFC 117 gambling event.
Clay Guida vs Rafeal dos Anjos – Several MMA enthusiasts are almost certainly asking why Guida is still highlighted on the Main Cards and there’s no good response for that. Dos Anjos appears to have figured things out though he got off to a tough start to his UFC career. This is one of many bouts featuring an American vs a Brazilian. Watch for the Brazilian to clean the mat with Guida.
Matt Hughes vs Ricardo Almeida – Matt Hughes (44-7) is one of the most difficult men in MMA and nobody wants to see him as their adversary in the Octagon. Almeida has a shot to win this one although he has yet to win a major match against a major name adversary yet in his UFC career. Hughes has gone just 2-2 in his previous two competitions, but look for him to pull out the win in this UFC 117 wagering game.
Roy Nelson vs Junior dos Santos – Of all the games of the night, this may be the most lopsided. Santos should dispatch the not very good Nelson with few problems. He is on his way to a championship shot. Roy “Big Country” Nelson is the first American to ever combat dos Santos. Both fighters are known for their capability to suddenly end a bout with a knockout. They are also both the only fighters to have eliminated Stefan Struve in under a minute. More of dos Santos’ wins came from punches, although they’ve got almost the same percentage of wins.
