Favre has faced hard questions from the press for two decades, never more so than this year while he has been embroiled in a sloppy Nfl investigation and had huge problems on the field for the Minnesota Vikings.
When he ultimately does determine to hang up the pads, which he was adamant last Wednesday will take place once and for all at the end of this lengthy and trying year, the 41-year-old qb said he could attempt to turn the tables.

After the Minnesota Vikings terminated coach Brad Childress, who had a well-documented history of butting heads with his Quarterback, some figured the old man would alter his mind again and determine to play in 2011. After all, Favre confidante Leslie Frazier is the team’s interim coach.
Favre said he was accomplished. The way this year has gone, it’s hard to blame him.
The investigation into accusations that he sent a game-day hostess inappropriate text messages and photos while both worked for the Jet 2008 has dragged on for two months now.
An Nfl spokesman said Wednesday that the investigation is continuing, and Favre said he has not been summoned by the league for another meeting and has no idea when it will get to a finish.
Favre also has been struggling on the field during the Vikings’ disappointing 4-7 start. He’s playing with two fractures in his ankle and has dealt with tendinitis in his elbow, stitches in his chin and stiffness in his throwing shoulder, among other injuries and ailments.
He joked that he got bit by a mosquito and now has malaria.
After putting together one of his greatest seasons in 2009 — a 33-touchdown, seven-interception masterpiece that directed the Minnesota Vikings to the National Football Conference title game — Favre is having one of his worst in year 20. He leads the league with 17 interceptions, and his 71.0 passer rating is 30th, ahead of merely Arizona’s Derek Anderson Oakland’s Bruce Gradkowki Carolina rookie Jimmy Clausen.
Favre knows that his history of waffling about the end of his career has left many doubters. Even some of his teammates won’t believe he’s accomplished until they obtain a text from him while he’s observing the 2011 year opener from his couch in Mississippi.
